Philippines Fashion Welcomed Top Barcelona Fashion Brand - Desigual

Stores Specialists Inc. has welcomed Desigual to Philippine Fashion. It is the latest addition to SSI’s stable of international brands.

Known for its bold prints and eye-popping colors, Desigual is originally from Barcelona, Spain. We were told it was born with the slogan, “It’s not the same.” Desigual seeks to provide a different customer experience by creating imaginative store spaces. Its “neon” concept offers dark settings with touches of blue lights that highlight the garments and create alternative worlds.

Hosted by MYX VJ Julz Savard, the grand launch was held at Club Haze which was decorated with an explosion of colors, as the invitees wore their trendiest clothes in bright hues and striking patterns. Playful cocktails such as Galactic Fun, Sexy Kisses and Summer Love, and endless Absolut Vodka had everyone in a great fun, partying mood.

The mood prepared them for a spectacular fashion show that sent models to the runway to the upbeat dance music by DJ Katsy Lee. Michael Huang of the Rustan’s Group of Companies and Desigual marketing manager for Asia Pacific Josie Kam welcomed the guest of honor, Spanish Ambassador Jorge Domecq who came with his lovely wife Rosa and daughter Clara.

“Desigual’s new store in Manille is an addition to its increasing global store count—with more than 350 stores in over 100 countries,” said Josie Kam at the event’s finale. Desigual, exclusively by SSI, is at Shangri-La Plaza Mall and Bonifacio High Street Central.
