January is Philippine Tropical Fabrics Month

In order to commercialize the use of ethnic textiles and tropical fibres, the Department of Science and Technology’s Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) is celebrating the month of January as "Philippine Tropical Fabrics (PTF) Month".DOST-PTRI spearheads the technological development and research on tropical textiles of Philippines.
