The scenes were first mysterious turned seductive when the character was revealed. The story revolved around the sexy Nikki Gil exhibiting her classy outfits on her way to her unit.

The video became more enticing when the hot actress reached her room and turned up the volume of her stereo. Spanish Fashion Jewelry Brand Uno de 50 Just Entered Philippine Fashion

The good news, is that the Spanish fashion jewelry and accessories brand Uno de 50 has just entered Philippine Fashion and opened a store at SM Aura Premier in Bonifacio Global City. The brand’s Philippine franchise is a partnership with the SM Retail Group.

Uno de 50 expansion director Jose Luis Pardos and franchise director Riccardo Ranier flew to Manila for the occasion. They were welcomed by SM’s Elizabeth Sy, Uno de 50 president and CEO Jose Azullay and business unit head Christine Syjueco.

In his speech, Azullay noted the booming retail market in the Philippines, and that Uno de 50 is fortunate to have the best possible business partner in SM.

Other VIP guests spotted at the store’s opening were Valeria Cavestany Aboitiz and Jose Mari Ugarte, principal and editor in chief, respectively, of Uno de 50’s event partner Hola! Philippines; happy couple Christopher Warns and Bianca Zobel; and a number of Manille’s young stylish set including Bianca Araneta Elizalde, Georgia del Rosario, Ariella Arida, Rima Ostwani and Claudine Trillo.

Uno de 50 has been spreading its wings quite fast with the opening of its Manila store, the brand’s 29th worldwide, considering it was founded only in the late 1990s. Ayala Malls Style Origin: A Focus on MarQuee Mall’s Casual Cool

Fashion inspiration sprung from the youth at last weekend’s Ayala Malls' Style Origin in MarQuee Mall, Angeles City, Pampanga, where trendy, casual pieces were presented to an audience of all ages. On day one, Mensweek Fashion took the spotlight and showcased menswear designs from sought-after Philippine Fashion designers and on day two, the High Street Fashion show sent looks from both local and international brands down the runway.

Pat Santos Presents New Philippine Fashion Collection

Finally making his long-anticipated debut at the prestigious Philippine Fashion Week this season, fashion designer Pat Santos proudly unveils his Holiday 2014 collection, titled Orientidental.

In a grand Philippine Fashion presentation held at the SMX Convention Center Hall 3, Santos paraded his first-ever collection for Philippine Fashion Week.

Indulging his penchant for enhancing the natural seductiveness of the female physique, Santos focuses on the use of lace, particularly with the organdy-cotton base lace material that fits like a dream. Subtly provocative, most of the dresses make use of a beige lining to mimic the skin’s color, while the lace overlay in lilac, ice blue-gray, black, and gold provides vivid color variations perfect for evenings out.

Each design from Santos’ 10-piece repertoire demonstrates both the traditional and modern aesthetic of the East and the West “Orientidental is an amalgamation of Asian and European design concepts, particularly the Asian culture’s preference for the simple and streamlined, but interpreted in European fashion language, which implies a more daring, fashion-forward approach to design,” explained Santos.

With his trademark luxe embellishments of sequins and Swarovski crystals, Santos adorns every creation in exquisite beadwork, a style for which he has become well-known. Finally, the he adds an unexpected, yet refreshing finishing touch to each piece: the classic belt, which he uses as this season’s must-have accessory, elegantly and glamorously contouring the woman’s shape.

Santos remarked, “One thing I’ve learned about myself as a designer is that I have a natural inclination to want to flaunt the Filipina’s natural beauty through my creations. So with this collection, I designed with the strong, smart, and sophisticated female in mind—I suppose in a sense it’s also about unleashing the beauty that’s within.”
